Welcome to English 010, Preparation for College English.

We will be using the blog to post comments and final draft of essays in order to help us learn from each other. One of the best ways to improve your writing is to study the writing of others. This blog will allow us to share and see others’ writings.

I will also be posting updates and assignments to make sure we are all on the same page. The syllabus will be posted under Syllabus. The resources page with have links and videos to help you will citations, WordPress, and more.

Textbook

The textbook for this class is “They Say, I Say” with readings, 3rd edition. Make sure to order the textbook that has the readings included! The cover should be bluish, not black.
